Thanks Chris, I agree it is a very Shetlandy image, it has that certain light that you only seem to get here? Very much looking forward to the longer daylight hours now that the clocks have changed!

Hello Sandy, HDR was not used on this shot. Just careful use of dodging and burning to make details darker or lighter. As its shot at twilight the illumnated building is easier to expose correctly as it is not significantly brighter than its surroundings.
