A long time since my last post!  Been busy doing commissions and running the Gallery.  Very nice to see the sun again after whats been a VERY long winter.  :)

Another shot from Sand, if you look very carefully there is a small natural arch in the rocks on the horizon.

Another shot from Whalsay, a great place to visit which has a very unique feel to it.

This is the last of the Mirrie Dancers installations from Shetland Arts.  The Star Trails are caused by the rotation of the earth during a long exposure (not a computer trick!).  The star at the centre is the pole star.

A beautiful still evening in Whalsay.  Got this shot while hurrying back along the banks from Sandwick to catch the Ferry.

Following on from the previous post, the remains of Culswick Broch can be seen in the distance on what can only be described as a turd of a day.

This rock pool is at the top of some scarily high cliffs.  The whole coastline is full of seams of dark red rock, which appear to have been used to build Culswick Broch further along the coast.

Not the most accesible of beaches, however was glad I made the effort.
